FREE Engagement Shoot

No strings attached. No fine print. No obligation. Only one condition: you have not already committed to another photographer for your wedding. Here is why I do this.

There are three things to consider when choosing a photographer. Most people only think about the first two.

  1. Are the pictures any good? When you browse my web site, you don't just see a few lucky pictures that happened to come out really good. I post every picture I deliver to my clients. You can know ahead of time the quality of the work you will receive. All packages include all high-resolution photos delivered to you in digital format.
  2. Price. Photography is like art. There is no "manufacturers suggested retail price." Wedding photography prices vary widely. When you look at my prices and the quality of my work, I think you will find you are getting a very good value for your dollar.
  3. Personality. This is the one you might not have thought about. Your wedding photographer is up close and personal with you all day on the most important day of your life. The last thing you want is someone that just rubs you the wrong way. I try to be like a good server at a restaurant--there when you need me, but  out of the way when you don't. I am there to fill your beverage, not join you for dinner. I want to be there the moment a shot is needed, but invisible otherwise. In some ways, choosing a photographer is like choosing a real estate agent. All agents have access to the same houses. What you are looking for is someone you enjoy spending time looking at houses with. Lots of photographers can take good photos and a reasonable price. What you want is someone you enjoy having with you on your special day. The only way to really tell is to spend time together. And, if we are spending time together, we might as well be taking pictures.

So, email me at josh@joshhunt.com or call 575-650-4564 and let's set up a time. A shoot usually goes for about an hour. Right around sunset is the best time. We can do it in doors if we need to, but I prefer out doors, weather permitting. If you don't like the experience, or don't like the photos, you are free to find another photographer and you will still get to keep all the photos from the shoot. No strings attached. No fine print. No obligation.
